Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ejen Studio LLC ("Ejen Studio", "we") collects, uses and shares personal information when you use ejenstudio.com (the "Service"). Ejen Studio is the data controller for this processing. Last updated September 10, 2026.
1. Information we collect
Account data: email address, password hash, sign-in method. Content: the text prompts you write, reference images or videos you upload, and the images and videos generated for you. Transaction data: plan, credit balance and ledger, Stripe customer and invoice identifiers (never full card numbers). Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, timestamps and error logs, collected automatically to run and secure the Service. Communications: messages you send us. Waitlist: an email address you leave on a pre-launch page.
2. How we use it
To provide the Service (run your generations, store your results, manage credits and subscriptions); to communicate with you about your account, security and changes to the Service; to prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our policies; to comply with legal obligations; and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service. We do not sell personal information, we do not use your prompts or generated content to train AI models, and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking.
3. Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis (for example the GDPR or Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law), we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service; compliance with legal obligations; and your consent where we ask for it (for example marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our instructions under contract: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage — EU region), Vercel (hosting and content delivery), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud Vertex AI and kie.ai (the AI models that receive your prompts and reference media to produce results). We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of users and the public, to enforce our Terms, and in a merger or sale of the business (with notice to you).
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a small preference cookie (for example dismissing a notice). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details.
6. Retention
Account data and your generated content are kept while your account exists and for 30 days after deletion, then permanently erased. Transaction and invoice records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Technical logs are kept for up to 90 days. Waitlist emails are deleted after launch or on request.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers operate in the United States and the European Union. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls and audit logging, and keep secrets out of the browser. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. You can delete your generated content yourself at any time. To exercise any right email create@ejenstudio.com from your account email; we respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes are announced by email or in the Service before they take effect.
